Breezes Bahamas will be prohibited from providing or serving alcoholic beverages between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm on Election Day, Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
In accordance with Section 99 of the Parliamentary Elections Act, all licenses issued under the Liquor Licenses’ Act will be suspended on May 12th, 2026, during the hours voting is conducted. Voting will take place between the hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm. All restaurants, bars and casino bars will not be permitted to serve or sell alcoholic beverages during this period. Nonalcoholic beverages can be sold and or made available to guests.
