One of the best parts of an all-inclusive vacation is the fact that once you're here, you won't need to spend another penny. And tipping is simply not permitted. However, should you decide to visit some of the local attractions, tours or shopping, you will need money. You'll find that merchants on the island do accept most major credit cards, though we recommend some cash for smaller, local merchants and restaurants who may require cash. Taxis in The Bahamas will require cash. The U.S. dollar is accepted in The Bahamas, though you may receive change in Bahamian Dollars, which is equivalent to US Dollars in The Bahamas. All guests will be required to present a valid credit card at check-in to cover any optional incidentals and extras while on property. Should you wish to indulge in our full-service Blue Mahoe Spa facility or purchase souvenirs from our in-house gift shop, these charges can be charged to your guest room folio. Our gift shop also accepts cash and most major credit cards.

What is the dress code?

Don't panic! It's your vacation so dress like it. We recommend light clothing and plenty of shorts, flip-flops/sandals, swimsuits and cover-ups. You'll enjoy the casually elegant atmosphere at Breezes Bahamas. While our a la carte restaurants have no formal dress-code, tank tops are not permitted. We find that gentlemen tend to wear slacks, jeans (or nice shorts) with a polo shirt, or a button down (short or long sleeve), which is appropriate, but not required. These recommendations would be the same for our nightclub and piano bar. Our main dining room, the Banana Boat buffet is more casual in nature. If you plan to play tennis or make use of our fitness center, we do recommend you bring whatever workout / athletic attire you normally wear for either (including shoes).
